All GP appointments at Growing Together Clinic are bulk billed. This means there is no out-of-pocket cost for your GP consultations – including the initial developmental assessment, follow-up appointments, medication reviews, and management plans.
To access bulk billing you will need a valid Medicare card. Please bring this to every appointment.
Appointments with our Consultant Paediatrician are privately billed. A Medicare rebate applies, which reduces your out-of-pocket cost.

Medicare rebates for assessments vary depending on eligibility and will be discussed with you before your appointment.
One of the key benefits of our integrated care model is that most ongoing care is provided by our bulk-billed GP rather than requiring repeated specialist visits. After the initial Paediatric assessment, many families find their ongoing costs are significantly lower than with a traditional specialist-only model.
If your child is referred to a psychologist or other allied health professional, fees will vary depending on the provider. Where our GP has prepared a Mental Health Care Plan, Medicare rebates may apply to a number of psychology sessions. Our team will discuss this with you at the time of referral.
If your child is an NDIS participant, some services at Growing Together Clinic may be claimable under their NDIS plan depending on the nature of the supports funded. Please speak with our team before your appointment to discuss your child’s funding situation.
EFTPOS and Medicare terminal for bulk-billing.
Payment is required on the day of your paediatric appointment. EFTPOS, Visa and Mastercard are accepted. Eligible Medicare rebates can usually be processed electronically after your consultation.
Please provide at least 48 business hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Late cancellations or non-attendance may incur a cancellation fee.
